Serafian's has been an Albuquerque, owned and operated business for nearly 40 years.
We specialize in sales and service of rugs for your home or office.
Our huge inventory includes everything form more affordable machine woven to fine and rare hand woven rugs from the mid and far east.
First opened in the mid 1980's by Geof Uhle, Serafian's was sold to Joe Gabel in 1997. Later, in 2020, Matt Gabel, Joe's son, purchased the business and had been running it since.
Matt has been involved with this business since mid-school and was working for Serafian's before his father Joe took over. At this point, Matt has over 30 years of experience in the rug industry.
Over the years we have learned a tremendous amount about the origins and histories of Oriental Rugs, how to properly design your home around them, and how to properly care for and clean for them as well.
We have gone to great efforts to build our wash plant into one of the most advanced in not only New Mexico, but the entire country.
